Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions and bodies, offices, and agencies, as well as on the free movement of such data, serves as the foundation for the RSI's implementation of the EUDPR. It repeals Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 and Decision No 1247/2002/EC (the "EUDPR"), which the RSI implemented in its implementing rules that were approved by its Management Board.
According to Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions and bodies, offices, and agencies and on the free movement of such data, the RSI handles personal data provided in connection with the use of Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration purposes, specifically for the organization of internal and external meetings as well as conversation chats.
